Considering you eat what comes out of your oven, it's smart to be careful about what goes in it. When it's time to clean your oven, you may want to opt for a chemical-free cleaner. Follow these three steps to properly clean your oven without chemicals at Rittenhouse Claridge:

1) Make sure you have the proper supplies.
You'll need white vinegar, baking soda, water, and liquid dish soap. Once you've gathered those materials, follow these directions. If you'd like, add a few drops of scented essential oil to the mixture. The ingredients will form a paste-like substance.

2) Apply the solution and let it sit.
While wearing rubber gloves, cover the inside of your oven with the paste, but stay away from the heating elements. To get the best results, let the paste sit for at least eight hours. The longer it sits, the harder the cleanser will work.

3) Wipe off the solution.
Wipe the paste from the oven with a damp rag. You'll probably need to wipe the oven a few times, so make sure to continuously rinse the rag with warm water. If there's still remnants of grease, reapply the solution on the spot, let it sit for 30 minutes, and rinse again.
