Even if you live in the heart of Center City, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the orchards nestled beyond the city’s fringes at the 2016 Reading Terminal Market Harvest Festival. The stretch of Filbert Street that runs along the outside of the Market will be closed to vehicles, which means more room for foot traffic. Hay bales, corn stalks, and other rustic accents will make the city street feel more like a country road.
There will be plenty to do at this year’s fall fest. Adults can head to the beer garden, where craft beers flow and fun snacks await, while kids are welcome to take a hayride around the market or snap a picture in the pumpkin patch. Of course, there will be many autumn-themed foods and sweets, and the Harvest Festival will also host live music.
