In honor of National Poetry Month, Eviama Life Spa in Center City will host a special poetry slam on Friday, April 28th. The informal poetry slam is an opportunity for local artists—or even poetry novices—to take the stage and show off their personal prose.
Come to Eviama Life Spa at 5:30 p.m. to sign up for a three-minute slot if you’d like to read some of your original work. It’s just $2 admission if you’re a reader and $5 if you’ve simply shown up to enjoy the show. From 6 to 8 p.m., poets from around the city step into the spotlight and deliver their masterpieces to the audience.
