Celebrate the Season with the Ugly Sweater Run Philadelphia

December 1, 2016

You might think that 5K season is over, but the Ugly Sweater Run is coming to Philly on Saturday, December 17th so that runners can have one last festive race. Actually, you don’t really have to be a runner to participate in this run—it’s as much for fun and sight-seeing as it is for burning calories.

And there will be plenty to see at the starting line, where hundreds of runners in their holiday ugliest snap some photos of their holiday sweaters, enjoy huge inflatables, and play games while holiday music floats through the air. Once you’ve had some fun, run alongside your friends through Philadelphia’s decked-out streets and parks, but save some energy for the finish line. After the 5K, runners can enjoy the finish line area that has everything from warm Kahlua cocktails to mechanical reindeer that you can actually ride.
