“Here’s looking at you, kid.” It’s an iconic movie line that you probably know, even if you’ve never seen the film from which it originates. On Valentine’s Day, you and your sweetie have the chance to see Humphrey Bogart deliver the line on the big screen thanks to a showing of Casablanca at the Philadelphia Film Center.
In honor of the day of love, the theater will screen this classic love story starting at 7 p.m. on February 14th. Follow Old Hollywood icons Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman—AKA Rick Blaine and Ilsa Lund—as they fall in love even with constant peril at their doorstep. Tickets to the film are $9, and you can purchase them online. Arrive an hour or two early to enjoy a cocktail and a bite at the Film Center’s Rick’s Cafe before the show.
