Now that spring has arrived and days are growing longer, you might struggle to make the grueling decision between spending happy hour at your favorite local brewery or your favorite local park. Parks on Tap ensures you never have to. The Philly Parks and Rec department teams up with the Fairmount Park Conservancy and FCM Hospitality to transform parks all across the city into temporary beer gardens all spring and summer long.
The first installment of Parks on Tap this year will unfold at Azalea Garden starting on Wednesday, April 25th. Parks on Tap promises a selection of local craft brews, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and some small snacks, along with tables and hammocks where you can enjoy the food and drink. It's coming to 23 parks throughout the Philly area up until the end of September, so you have lots of opportunities to explore local green spaces and enjoy a craft brew.
