Looking to try something new? Check out the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. It offers learning opportunities for rising professionals, but also for anyone who wants to get stronger and more flexible without slogging through boring gym exercises. Make the short trip over from Rittenhouse Claridge to learn about everything from juggling to tight wire, trapeze, and rope and fabric acrobatics in a large and friendly space, with wood flooring and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.
For a fun introduction, try one of the aerials workshops. With a limit of just six students, you're sure to get personalized training in trapeze, silk aerials, and rope acrobatics. If you're not new to the circus arts, you may want to try the advanced classes, or private lessons. The school also offers adult classes in acrobatics, conditioning, and juggling, plus plenty of fun classes for kids ages 18 months and up.
