Please Touch Museum: Kids Can Learn and Explore Just a Short Trip From Rittenhouse Claridge in Philadelphia

May 15, 2014

Museums where kids can only look and must resist the urge to touch and explore are not much fun for most children. The Please Touch Museum, though, is designed with curious, inquisitive, and creative children in mind. This Philadelphia attraction appeals to children under seven years of age and encourages them to experience hands-on learning.

Instead of just reading about rainforests and airplanes at your Rittenhouse Claridge apartment, check out the Rainforest Rhythm and the Flight Fantasy exhibits, which encourage children to climb, crawl, and touch to learn about such experiences. To learn more about water, guests can blow bubbles or race boats. They can design a rocket ship or make music.

Check out the website to learn about educational programs that are offered, as well as story time. Admission to the Please Touch Museum is a bit on the expensive side as kids and adults are charged $17. However, your children are sure to love this place, and they’ll learn a thing to two as well!
