Every breath you take while you exercise—no matter how labored—is a gift. That’s what the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation wants you to remember when you participate in the 7th Annual Your Next Step is the Cure 5K in Philadelphia. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a set of lungs capable of carrying them through a 5K. But with your help, perhaps that won’t always be the case.
When you sign up for the 5K, most of your registration fee goes to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, which is fighting to find a cure for lung cancer. So by the time the 8th Annual Your Next Step is the Cure 5K rolls around, the hope is that many more lungs will be working well. Feel free to run, walk, or even bike this year’s route on Sunday, October 8th. Stick around afterward for live music, awards, and fun activities.
