From the brightly painted brick to the locally crafted beer and cider, everything at The Love exudes a sense of whimsy. That's just how renowned co-creators Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr envisioned it. With the help of upscale NYC-based interior designers, Starr and Olexy were able to create the comfortable, beautifully offbeat cafe of their dreams with 100 seats scattered throughout a dining room, lounge, loft, and streetside area.
Although The Love just debuted on November 8th, residents of Rittenhouse Square and the surrounding neighborhoods have already fallen in love. It's not just the atmosphere that has them hooked. The creative American cuisine also delights eaters. Start your meal by sharing a board of American artisan cheese or house-made pierogies with your dining companions. After an appetizer or two, enjoy salt-and-pepper salmon with crispy brussels sprouts, short rib stroganoff with a cola glaze, or buttermilk-fried Green Circle chicken. Complement your meal with a unique cocktail like the Government Mule with smoky mezcal, ginger, lime, and cranberry cider.
