This year for Mother's Day, treat the moms in your life to stunning views of the Philly skyline with a side of hot food and good music. The Philadelphia Mother's Day Cruises hosted by the Spirit of Philadelphia offer a fun alternative to your typical brunch on land. And the ship will actually host three cruises, one for brunch, another for a late lunch/early dinner, and a third evening dinner cruise.
Grab tickets to the brunch cruise ($65 per person) and enjoy a two-hour ride on the Spirit complete with scrambled eggs, breakfast pastries, and all the bacon you can eat. At 2 p.m., climb aboard the Spirit for the early dinner cruise ($74), when the buffet offers up fresh salads, hot pasta, and entrees like roasted pork loin and hand-carved prime rib. The dinner buffet for the 7 p.m. cruise ($74) consists of a similar mix of upscale American food. A DJ provides the tunes for each of the cruises, as well as fun games for the whole family.
