Visit The Kimmel Center Near Rittenhouse Claridge to Check Out the Philly Arts Scene

When it comes to Philadelphia arts, The Kimmel Center is one of the main attractions in the city. Most commonly known as the home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, The Kimmel Center also houses the 2,500-seat Verizon Hall, the SEI Innovation Studio, and the 650-seat Perelman Theatre.

Of course, you can catch a performance by the renowned Philadelphia Orchestra, or you could enjoy a variety of other performances. The center also plays host to musical theater, ballet, modern dance, recitals, and individual performances. Resident companies of The Kimmel Center include the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, American Theatre Arts for Youth, Philly Pops, Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, and the Pennsylvania Ballet. The Kimmel Center also offers free performing arts classes for students in grades five through 12. All of this awaits an easy walk away from Rittenhouse Claridge.
