Experience Authentic British Fare at The Dandelion

February 24, 2016

You don't have to leave Philadelphia to get the full London experience. Just head to The Dandelion, only a few blocks from RIttenhouse Claridge. This transplanted British pub looks just like you'd imagine it would, complete with crackling fireplaces, dark woods, and overstuffed comfy chairs. In fact, its many rooms almost evoke an English residence.

But it's not just the cozy atmosphere that brings customers to The Dandelion. They also love the fresh, authentic, upscale pub fare. Don't be scared off by unusual ingredients; the most unique offerings are some of the best. For example, customers rave about the chicken and duck liver parfait, layered with grape chutney and cornichons and served with brioche toast. They also like the smoked salmon and trout pate on toasted pumpernickel as well as the more familiar shepherd's pie made with lamb.
