Rittenhouse Week 1: Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show
Nearly 900 artists apply every year to be part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, but only a handpicked 195 are ultimately invited to participate. It’s this careful selection that ensures only the very best of the best end up on the floor at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on November 8th, 9th, and 10th.
That’s when the annual craft show is taking place this year, and you can grab your tickets online ($20+) or grab them at the convention center. Either way, that ticket grants you access to a huge lineup of artists selling their unique, handcrafted creations. They range from hand-shaped pieces of jewelry to glass-blown masterpieces made specifically for display. This year, the Guest Artist Program will welcome 26 Israeli artists with their own fresh take on high-quality arts and crafts. If you’re not sure where to start with your holiday shopping, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is a great place.
