Vernick Fish Is a New Special-Occasion Restaurant Near Rittenhouse Claridge

October 30, 2019

The Four Seasons debuted a new hotel in the Comcast Center a couple of months ago, and with it, a pair of new restaurants. One of them is located on the ground floor of the famous Philly landmark: Vernick Fish. It’s named for James Beard award winner Greg Vernick, who has created what he refers to as “his spin on the oyster bar,” according to Eater.

Come to the swanky new spot to savor seafood from Chef Greg’s extensive raw bar alongside some fully seared dishes and craft cocktails. Start with a few of the East Coast oysters or share the surf clam ceviche. You can also savor tuna with foie gras mousse and uni and caviar “French toast” from the raw bar. For a more filling meal, order a large plate, perhaps the swordfish a la plancha with spicy braised squid and fresh basil.
