Just because it’s getting chilly in Philly doesn’t mean this is the end of outdoor recreation until the spring. As it does every year, winter at Dilworth Park promises an array of outdoorsy fun just steps from City Hall, anchored by the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin.
Both of them opened for the season on November 8th, and they’ll remain open through February 23rd of next year. That gives you more than enough time to go for a spin out on the ice rink and grab a spiked hot chocolate or Victory Brewing craft beer inside the cabin. While you’re at Dilworth Park, snap a selfie in the whimsical Wintergarden, do some holiday shopping at the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market (opening November 23rd), or catch the light show that blazes across the face of City Hall starting on November 25th.
