Part bar, part haunted house, Dark Passage is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The fun begins when you step into the Strange Spirits Lounge, a Prohibition-inspired speakeasy slinging Halloween cocktails. Spend as long as you like in the lounge sipping on your drink, or grab one to-go and start exploring the rest of the haunted house—just try not to spill when you encounter an unexpected specter.
Dark Passage is just one of the Halloween-themed bars popping up in Philly this October. You can also check out Haunt, which is on the second floor of the newly opened Pearl Tavern. It’s open until November 3rd with candy corn cocktails and fun events, like pumpkin carving and a masquerade ball. Then you can head right over to Nightmare, the former home of Tinsel (a holiday bar that debuted last year). Just like its holiday predecessor, Nightmare will boast a totally decked-out space and lots of spooky libations.
