Explore a Beautiful Philadelphian Greenspace on the Bartram’s Garden Boat Tour on October 7th

October 4, 2017

Bartram’s Garden has been an integral part of the Philadelphia community since it was founded in the late 19th century. But it underwent a major makeover starting in 2008, adding new elements that have made the free public green space even more appealing to Philadelphians. Learn all about the new features on the Bartram’s Garden Boat Tour on Sunday, October 7th.

You’ll learn all about the 45-acre space, which includes a flourishing garden, a community farm that provides organic produce to city dwellers, and the recently opened Bartram’s Mile. To participate in the boat tour, come to 30th Street at 2:30 p.m. The boat will ferry you to Bartram’s Garden, where you’ll receive a tour of the garden and its grounds. Tickets to the garden boat tour are $65, but you can also meet the group at the garden and take a walking tour only for $15.
