Harp & Crown: Small Bites, Artisan Libations, and Bowling

February 10, 2017

Most bowling alleys aren’t exactly known for their ambiance, but Harp & Crown breaks the mold. That’s largely because it’s a chic cocktail lounge and restaurant first—and a bowling alley second. Designed by Michael Schulson, a well-known name in Philadelphia, Harp & Crown took a blank canvas and embellished it with a mix of rustic and contemporary accents.

This means you can grab a cocktail and a few creative small plates in the restaurant—perhaps the lamb meatball sliders and tuna crudo—and sink into one of the plush couches to enjoy your happy hour. You can also sit down for a full feast of roasted hanger steak with shiitake mushrooms or diver scallops. And if you want to do some bowling, rent one of the two private bowling lanes and savor the same small bites and drinks while you play. Regardless of whether you hang out at the bar or grab a lane, a trip to Harp & Crown makes for a fun night out.
